Anyone using Trial Command will necessarily be taking a systematic approach to preparing for trial, organizing essential information, and calendaring deadlines. The hard work of creating a functional, litigator-specific system has been done for you, so Trial Command will allow the focus to be on the actual trial preparation, rather than trying to create a useful roadmap at the last minute. I am a plaintiff-side civil litigator. One of the challenges of plaintiff-side litigation is that I often face off against defense teams with infinitely more resources and support staff. I don't necessarily need those things to be successful, but I do need something to keep myself organized, on schedule, and on track, and I was never quite satisfied with my own efforts to create this type of roadmap. So, having access to Trial Command, which is an affordable, useful, systematic approach to preparing for trial, will help save time and frustration, which will be invaluable when trial nears. Trial Command is streamlined and intuitive to use, but it is still comprehensive, and I know that it would take me many, many hours to conceive of and create this type of PDF myself (and in fact, as I noted, I never was successful in so doing when I tried before), so this is definitely a worthwhile investment of a modest amount of money, especially because I can use this or adapt it to my needs over time.
